I’m Chucky Blk, and for me, making music is alchemy. Each track is the song I needed at that moment, something I had to transform to understand myself. I’m influenced by the therapeutic approach of Internal Family Systems, and I turn my life’s tangles into 16-bar spells. Jazz is often my medium, whether it’s rapping over Pharoah Sanders or Ethiopian jazz samples. I want each song to be a guide, an invitation for others to reflect, unravel, and find their own path through the storm.

Beyond the music, I’m also a storyteller through community and digital spaces. I manage social media and event coordination at Pat’s Games, helping rebrand the space from a competitive hub to an inclusive third place. I craft content, videos, campaigns, and events that foster community and belonging. For me, it’s all part of the same craft: creating spaces both onstage and online where people feel seen, heard, and invited into their own story.
